Over the years, the CWP has collaborated with numerous community organizations, schools, universities, and publications in order to bring writing workshops to the adults they serve. Community partners provide a welcoming space for the workshops, and may support the writers with childcare, writing supplies, or coffee and snacks. Some partnering organizations have contributed to the publication of magazines of the writers’ work, and some have offered their space for public readings after the release of a magazine so that writers can share their work with members of their community. Other community partners have offered space for public readings or workshop facilitator trainings.
