The Edgewater Library Writing Group was initiated in Fall of 2017 in response to participants in a library-sponsored creative writing class, who expressed the desire to continue writing. Considered an extension of the public library as an open community, the writing group welcomes anyone seeking to develop their writing and contribute to our community of writers.

The Edgewater Library Writing Group meets every second and fourth Tuesday evening each month, from 6:30 to 8 pm. The group currently meets over Zoom, in light of the coronavirus pandemic. If you are interested in joining the Edgewater writers, please contact:

The Edgewater Library writers fittingly named their Real Conditions publication “Writing from the Edge.”

Writing from the Edge, Issue 1, was published in February, 2018.

Writing from the Edge, Issue 2, was published in May, 2021.
